The price you see is the whole trip: insurance, breakdown cover, unlimited miles, bedding, gas and the kitchen kit all included. We do not sell add-ons because we do not like being sold add-ons. The only other money is the refundable £750 security deposit, paid on collection day and back in your account within 5 working days.

When you message us you get us, not a support bot. Our direct number is on every page and one tap away on your phone throughout the trip. A human answers 8am to 10pm, and UK breakdown cover is on the van round the clock.
How-to videos, any hour
Short how-to videos for your exact van cover everything from the hob to the heating, so most questions answer themselves before you need to ask, at 11pm on a campsite as much as at handover. And booking is just as painless: sign up, upload your licence and go.
Free secure parking for your car
Drive into our gated yard in Wythall, swap keys, drive away. Your car stays there, free, until the van comes back. No station car park, no taxi, no favours to call in.
If we re-let your dates, you get back whatever the new booking pays, up to everything you paid. Cancel as early as you can and we'll try to re-let the van.

Who we are
VANZ started in a workshop. We build campervan furniture and help people turn empty vans into homes on wheels, so we know exactly what makes a camper work. The KNAUS is a proper German-built van we chose, prepped and look after ourselves.
Whether you want a week away or a taste of van life before diving in, this is the easy way in. Between every hire we clean, restock and check the van over ourselves before it goes back out.

Pick your dates and see the whole price up front. A deposit from £150 secures it. No add-ons, no surprises later.

Licence and documents over a secure link in about ten minutes. Then your van's how-to videos are ready to watch before you set off.

An unhurried handover, keys in hand, kettle packed. If anything stumps you out there, we are one message away for the whole trip.

Asked before every first trip
How do payments work?
Booking more than 4 weeks ahead? Pay a booking deposit now (25% of the hire, minimum £150) and the balance by 3 weeks before collection. We email a payment link and never charge your card automatically. If the balance is still unpaid 7 days after it falls due we'll get in touch; if we can't reach you we may release the dates, and your deposit becomes a credit towards new dates within 12 months. Booking within 4 weeks of collection? You pay in full when you book. The £750 security deposit is separate: a bank transfer on collection day, back within 5 working days of a clean return.
How does the security deposit work?
We take a refundable £750 security deposit on collection day, paid by bank transfer from the lead driver's own account (an insurance requirement), matching the insurance excess. It goes back to the same account after the van comes back clean and undamaged, normally within 5 working days of inspection. If a driver's record carries an insurance loading, the deposit follows the adjusted excess and we'll tell you the exact figure before you pay your balance.
Is there a mileage limit?
No. Miles are unlimited, with no per-mile charge, ever. Drive the NC500, the Welsh coast or wherever the week takes you; the price you booked is the price you pay.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, and there's no extra charge. Up to two dogs, any size, travelling restrained in the back. Bring their own bed and a towel. Normal hair and mud are expected and free; we only ever charge for actual damage, with photos.
